Merry Christmas everbody!

At last! 

Here are the two last additional parts of the Retro Holly Jolly kit. The plan was to upload them seperately, but I have no idea when I'll have the time the next few days, so I'm going to share them both at once, here on the blog.

I think this will be the last time I'll be posting before the holidays, so I really would like to take time to thank all of you who have been downloading my kits the last couple of months. It's been wonderful to do some digital designing again, and I'm sure I'm going to keep doing it, for sure when the busy festive days are over and I'll have some time to sit down and start designing a new kit. I already have some ideas and of course I'll be participating in the next Pixel Scrapper blogtrain, with the Science Fiction theme. I finished it a while ago, and I struggled a lot with this one! I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, but I think it's not my best work though, haha. I actually love Science Fiction, but somehow I found it very hard to translate it in some useful stuff for a scrapbooking kit. 

A little reminder for you as well; both Free Spirit kits will be taken down next weekend, so you better be fast if you still like to download it. 

For now, I'm wishing everyone a very merry Christmas. I hope you can all relax for a while and enjoy the festive days, like we're going to do (hopefully).

Christmas around the corner

Goodmorning everyone! 

It's been a week since I posted the first extra part from Retro Holly Jolly. It's been such a busy week, the hectic days before Christmas I guess, that I haven't had the time to  post more. But I always keep my promise, so here I am with another part for you.  I will be posting this on my Facebook Group, so you better be heading there if you'd like to grab it.  Maybe I'll be posting it here on the blog after Christmas, but for now it will just be on there. 

This part contains 54 more elements, and they combine with the original blog train part beautifully.

Retro Holly Jolly Extra

Hello! 

First I want to say THANK YOU for downloading my Retro Holly Jolly kit so many times! It's great to know you like this all so much. I'm liking it too and already started some layouts using it, maybe I'll post them later this month, maybe even a Quickpage for a freebie, who knows? 

Anyway, here's the first of 4 extra parts of the Retro Holly Jolly kit. It contains 10 papers that didn't make it into the blogtrain. 

The next parts will be a pack with 54 elements and 2 more paperpacks. They will be up in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas, and I will post them on my Facebook group, Deviantart or on here. 
I will keep you posted here on the blog, so you can keep an eye out for them. 

I hope these papers will be of use to you, they're perfect for combining with the Christmas kit, but most papers can also be used for other types of layouts.

Letting you know

Hello again, 

Today's just a little reminder that by the end of this week my kit 'Touch Of Frost' will no longer be available on my blog. I will take it down on the 7th of December, so if you like it and don't have it yet, be quick to download it.

The last few days I noticed a lot of traffic on my blog and on my downloadpages at Mediafire. The kits 'Free Spirit' and 'Retro Holly Jolly' have been downloaded hundreds of times, in just a few days time, which is really nice to know. I'm glad you all like my work and of course this inspires me to keep making freebies. Many of you leave messages and sincerely appreciate my work, and that's why I share my digital goodies.  I also would like to point out that I really enjoy reading your feedback, or even a simple 'thank you' after you've downloaded my products. Seeing the numbers of downloads on the hosting sites is great, but also very 'abstract' if you know what I mean. It's nice to maybe get to know a bit more of the people who are downloading my kits. I've learned that people from all over the world have been downloading the kits, from Russia, Europe, the US and even Australia. It is so nice to know that, it makes it more 'special', since I'm Dutch and don't usually 'talk' to people from all corners of the world. So please keep that going! 💖

When I download products from other designers, I always try to find a place where I can leave a 'thank you'. It's just a confirmation to the designer that his/her hard work is very much appreciated.

Hello December!

And yes, December's here. Great times ahead with the holidays, and of course for digiscrapping. 

The second blogtrain I joined on Pixel Scrapper is a good old-fashioned Christmas kit. The colours are beautiful, muted and pastel. 

I loved this theme so much, although I had a hard time getting into the Holly Jolly mood, but that was only because it still was October when I started designing it and the weather was way too sunny and too warm to think of winter and Christmas. 

I think the kit turned out really cute, I love the penguin I drew, and although I don't think there are a lot of 'retro' items in this kit, it is still very useful for your Christmas photos. 

The other thing I found somewhat difficult, was to stop designing. 😂 The kit has become way too big to join the blogtrain, so I had to split it up in different parts. The first parts are for the Pixel Scrapper blogtrain, the other parts will be available on my blog and Facebook group during the month of December. If you don't want to miss out, just check my blog regularly and I will let you know when and where to get it. 

For now, here is my contribution for the Pixel Scrapper Blogtrain, I hope you like it and that you can make beautiful Christmas layouts with it.
