I'm not a big fan of commercial holidays like Valentine's Day, it's just too much for me. Maybe it's because I'm Dutch, it's definitely not as big over here as it is in the States for example. But I also feel that you should show your love for someone you care for on a daily basis, not just go over the top on one special day. Buying expensive gifts etc.. it just doesn't feel right to me. But I have to admit, I have sent cards in the past, just a sweet little message for the one I was with. I guess that's what you were 'meant' to do on Valentine's Day?
Nowadays, me and my guy sometimes do a little something for Valentine's Day, but it doesn't have to be especially on the 14th of February though. Often it's on the 15th of a random month, because that's the day (in November) we got together 5 years ago.

This kit was originally from 2017, so that's relatively new, but I have adjusted it a bit and added some new elements. It's not a huge kit, but definitely a complete kit, with lots of useful stuff in it I think. I'm really pleased to see my 'Walk On The Wild Side' kit is extremely popular and had over 300 downloads in just 2 days time. Thanks for that! This really keeps me motivated to make more goodies for you.
I also wanted to let you know that my Retro Holly Jolly kit will be offline within a week, so if you haven't downloaded it yet, make sure you do before February 10th.
Plus, I will be updating and adjusting a kit for Valentine's Day and it will be online on the 14th of course. It's a kit I made in 2017, so not really an old one, but I think I can adjust a few things here and there to make it a bit more contemporary and useful and more in the style I'm getting into these days.
So, keep an eye out for that!

Walk On The Wild Side
I'm pretty proud of how this kit turned out! I handdrew all the little animals, the jeep, some of the flowers and later I digitally adjusted and coloured them in with Photoshop. It's a great way to combine 2 of my hobbies, drawing and designing scrapbookitems.
The theme for the Pixel Scrapper blogtrain for February was so cool, and all of the contributions are adorable and beautiful! If you like to download the rest of the blogtrain, head over to the Pixel Scrapper forums, you can find the list with contributors on there.
I hope this kit will be useful to you, I think there are some pretty useful elements in it, and the colours are not too bright and just a pretty mix of muted colours. I had fun designing everything and I think this will be one I definitely will use a lot myself. My son loves wild animals and I can see him go on a safari trip when he gets older. 😆😉
