January Blues...

Goodmorning everyone, 

It's a beautiful cold and frosty (but also very sunny) sundaymorning over here and I can't wait to go on a walk later today. Winter is finally here, and although I don't really like cold weather, when it's like this, I wish every winterday would be like this.🌞

Tomorrow it's Blue Monday, I think you've heard of it. A day, apparently, when a lot of people feel down or depressed, at least that's what I read everywhere. It's mostly because of the feeling a lot of us have, after a month of celebrations, holidays and festivities, to come down from all of that and having the long month of a cold and grey January ahead of us. 

Personally, I don't feel like that on Blue Monday. I love December, but I always look forward to a fresh new year, full of new opportunities and chances. 

So I do like January as well, also mainly because my son will turn 8 by the end of the month. 😲

It only seems like yesterday when he was born, but.. well, time flies! 😵

Years ago (in 2010) I made one of my first fullsize minikits, and I called it January Blues. I had never heard of Blue Monday back then, but I guess I knew the feeling it referred to. The kit is in - of course - blue shades and has a lot of denim / jeans elements and papers in it, which I love. The kit needed some adjusting and updating, and I think it still is a pretty fun kit, with the adjustments I made. It contains 18 papers and about 50 elements. 

You can grab the first 3 parts today, and I will upload part 4 & 5 tomorrow, on Blue Monday. I just hope it won't be too Blue for You. 😉
